Abstract

Science and technology are regarded as a “central driving force” for enhancing national competitiveness and promoting socio-economic development, thereby contributing to strengthening and elevating the position of nations in the international arena in the context of globalization, expanding international cooperation, and the profound impacts of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This article examines Hồ Chí Minh’s thoughts on science and technique as well as the current state of science and technology development in Vietnam. On that basis, this article analyses and clarifies the practical significance and theoretical value of Hồ Chí Minh’s thought on science and technique for the development of science and technology in contemporary Vietnam.
