Abstract

Biotechnology development is a global trend and serves as an important driving force for innovation in the growth model, economic restructuring, ensuring social security, national defense, and improving people's livelihoods. Vietnam is striving to become a country with advanced biotechnology, aiming to be a center for smart production and biotechnology services, among the leading nations in Asia. The biotechnology industry is expected to become a key economic-technical sector, making a positive contribution to the country’s GDP. This article proposes several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of biotechnology application in promoting sustainable economic development.
