Abstract
In the context of ongoing digital transformation, political theory education at Vietnamese universities faces an urgent need for substantial innovation to help cultivate a generation of students with firm ideals, strong character, and aspirations for national development. This article examines the role of political theory teaching in inspiring students’ development aspirations in today’s digital era. It also proposes directions for pedagogical renewal, including the development of engaging digital learning materials, the design of practice-oriented learning activities, the expansion of online discussion forums, and the implementation of critically oriented learning projects. The findings affirm that political theory teaching is not merely a process of knowledge transmission but also a means of nurturing development aspirations in the digital age.
