Abstract

In an era of information proliferation and rapid digital-platform development, the growing volume of media products places increasingly demanding requirements on efforts to safeguard the ideological foundation of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh. As professionals directly responsible for evaluating and shaping content, editors play an important role in ideological orientation and in protecting this foundation on the cultural front. To fulfill this responsibility, editors must continuously develop their linguistic competence, which serves as a fundamental tool for identifying, processing, and directing information. Strengthening editors’ linguistic competence is therefore essential to improving the quality and effectiveness of efforts to safeguard the Party’s ideological foundation in the new context.
