Abstract
This study examines the use of digital dictionaries in vocabulary acquisition among English language students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. A survey of 122 students found that 75,4% use digital dictionaries daily, while only 6,6% prefer printed ones. Key benefits include fast lookup, pronunciation support, and AI translation. However, challenges such as accuracy, AI dependence, and digital distractions remain. The findings highlight the need for strategies to enhance the effectiveness of digital dictionaries in language learning.
