Abstract
Drawing on international scholarship and domestic policy frameworks, this article analyzes the development of the digital society in the context of digital transformation in Vietnam. It further examines key legal issues arising in this process, including personal data protection, governance of online information, regulation of the digital economy, and oversight of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence. Based on these analyses, the article proposes several directions for improving the legal framework in a flexible, coherent, and human- centered manner, with a view to supporting sustainable development in the digital society.
