Abstract

The teaching staff of vocational schools, especially the instructors of practical subjects, play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of training for mid-level human resources within the vocational education system. Therefore, practical instructors need to possess comprehensive teaching competencies (both professional skills and pedagogical skills for vocational education). This article focuses on developing a competency framework for practical instructors at vocational schools. This competency framework can be effectively applied in activities aimed at enhancing the professional skills of practical instructors in vocational schools in the context of current vocational education reform.
