Abstract
This article focuses on analyzing the profound meaning and significance of the teaching profession in traditional Vietnamese education, while also highlighting core values that can be applied to the current educational context. Using the styles of exemplary teachers as examples, the study affirms that the noble status of traditional teachers is not built upon economic or political power, but on a foundation of exemplary morality, a mission of imparting knowledge, and a spirit of selfless dedication. The article also presents new insights into the philosophy of life and noble character of the Confucian teachers, while reaffirming the noble value of the teaching profession in contemporary society.
