Abstract

This article evaluates the current situation and analyzes factors affecting the application of the principle of linking theory with practice in teaching Scientific Socialism at Dong Thap University in the context of online learning. The results show that the application of this principle has achieved certain positive changes; however, it remains limited in terms of depth and effectiveness. The study also indicates that teaching methods in the online environment and students’ learning motivation are key influencing factors. Based on these findings, this article proposes solutions to innovate online teaching towards closer integration of theory and practice and to promote students’ active learning, thereby contributing to improving the quality of teaching political theory courses in the context of digital transformation.
