Abstract

The time and motion study technique, originating from the era of manual production, involves breaking down tasks into smaller operations, measuring the time required for each, eliminating unnecessary steps, and subsequently selecting, organizing, and standardizing these operations into eff ective work methods. Despite the profound changes brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, time and motion studies remain highly relevant. However, research perspectives have broadened, and the supporting tools have become more diverse and technologically advanced. This paper presents several emerging trends in time and motion study techniques, providing a foundation for proposing application directions in enterprises.
