Abstract
Online career guidance communication increasingly involves the collection and processing of participants’ personal data, ranging from identification information and academic records to interests, psychological characteristics, and career aspirations. This article analyses the risks to personal data and the limitations of the Vietnamese legal framework governing such activities. On that basis, it proposes measures to strengthen the protection of digital career guidance profiles and personal data, enhance transparency in the use of artificial intelligence (AI), and clearly define the responsibilities of relevant stakeholders.
