Abstract

This study develops assessment tests to evaluate the current performance of the forehand topspin technique among Physical Education majors at Tay Bac University. The findings indicate that teaching exercises are limited in both quantity and quality; the shortage of supplementary drills constrains skill execution and skill transfer, thereby hindering students’ technical development. Based on the study results and interviews, the article proposes 15 exercises to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning in the Tennis course and to enhance overall training quality at the university.
