Abstract
The 2018 General Education Curriculum emphasizes the development of students’ qualities and competencies. In literature education, literary reception helps students recognize emotions, understand others, and engage in reflection. As audio-based learning resources, literary podcasts can support experiential learning and social interaction. Based on a literature review, curriculum and material analysis, and pedagogical design, this study proposes three measures: designing podcasts using a literary work–social-emotional competence indicator matrix and the “Touch - Understand - Reflect - Open” structure; combining podcast listening with individual reflection and social interaction; and integrating literary podcasts into literature lessons and other educational activities. These measures align social-emotional competence development with the objectives of literature education while allowing flexible application in practice.
