Abstract

Teachers’ mental health is a decisive factor in the effectiveness and quality of education and plays a particularly important role in building happy schools. It directly affects students’ learning motivation as well as their mental well-being. Therefore, raising awareness so that teachers recognize the importance of mental health, identify early signs of psychological distress, equip themselves with knowledge and skills for mental health care, and implement a multi-tiered support ecosystem are key measures for protecting the mental health of those working in the education sector. This is also one of the core priorities of the education sector in its efforts to promote the development of happy schools.
