Abstract

Digital transformation in the field of Physical Education and Sports is an inevitable trend aligned with the strategic direction of the Party and the Government in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The national digital transformation program sets the goal that by 2025, the digital economy will account for 20% of GDP, and by 2030, 30%, while building a safe and human-centered digital environment. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued digital transformation plans and programs through 2025 with orientations toward 2030, emphasizing data-driven governance, online tournament management, the application of VAR technology, electronic ticketing, and synchronized databases of officials, athletes, and coaches. Additionally, digital transformation improves the quality of training, coaching, refereeing, and public sports services. This marks a comprehensive transformation, creating a foundation for Vietnam’s sports sector to modernize, achieve breakthroughs, and integrate more deeply with the international community.
