Abstract

The resolution of civil cassation petitions is an important procedural activity aimed at identifying and correcting errors in legally effective civil judgments and decisions. It contributes to ensuring judicial accuracy, protecting the lawful rights and interests of agencies, organizations, and individuals, and promoting the consistent application of law in civil proceedings. In the context of restructuring the People’s Court system under a new organizational model, the handling of such petitions faces growing requirements concerning quality, timeliness, and procedural consistency. Based on an analysis of current legal provisions and practical implementation, this article evaluates existing achievements, identifies key difficulties and obstacles, and proposes several solutions to improve the effectiveness of resolving civil cassation petitions in the coming period.
