Abstract
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the “Module d'Insertion Professionnelle” (MIP), a bilingual career integration program for engineering students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, using the four- level Kirkpatrick framework. Data were collected from 42 final-year students across two cohorts, 12 sector job advertisements, four employer-led mock interview sessions with representatives from Global and FPT Software, and expert course design review. Results show high satisfaction and statistically significant skill gains, with the greatest improvements in CV writing and interview performance. Students from the 2025 MIP cohort received more positive employer evaluations and achieved higher mock interview scores compared to those from the 2021 version, though their language proficiency gaps remain substantial. The study recommends expanding program duration, integrating domain-specific language practice, and deepening employer engagement.
