Abstract
This study analyzes the current state of English learning motivation among students of the Faculty of Software Engineering through quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews. The results indicate that students have a high level of motivation to learn English, primarily driven by career-related needs, the ability to access specialized materials, and the requirements of employers. However, students still face challenges in maintaining consistent learning habits due to limited time, a lack of practical environments, and insufficient communication skills. The study proposes solutions to enhance English for specific purposes, expand foreign language usage environments, and connect learning activities with real-world professional contexts.
