Abstract
The rapid global expansion of e-commerce has been accompanied by a corresponding increase in online fraud, posing significant challenges to businesses, consumers, and regulatory authorities. E-commerce fraud can result not only in substantial financial losses but also in the erosion of consumer trust, which is essential to the sustainable development of online markets. In Vietnam, efforts to prevent and combat e-commerce fraud and the sale of counterfeit and imitation goods in the digital environment continue to face numerous difficulties and challenges. This article examines major forms of e-commerce fraud and their methods of operation, thereby providing a basis for improving the effectiveness of measures to prevent and combat such fraudulent practices in Vietnam today.
