Abstract

Developing professional skills for students majoring in Political Education is an urgent requirement in response to the current goals of fundamental and comprehensive reform in education and training. Training practice at Dong Thap University shows that, despite certain achievements, students majoring in Political Education still face limitations in several essential professional skills. Based on an analysis of the role of professional skills for teacher education students and the current situation of professional skill development for Political Education students at Dong Thap University, this article proposes several solutions to enhance these skills. The coordinated implementation of these solutions is expected to contribute to improving training quality and fostering the professional competencies of Political Education students in the current context.
