Abstract

In the context of globalization and increasing integration, education on multiculturalism has become a crucial means of strengthening social cohesion, consolidating national identity, and developing human resources. In Southeast Asia, Malaysia stands out as a country with a high level of cultural diversity. This diversity, on the one hand, creates a rich and colorful cultural landscape, contributing to economic development, tourism, and creative industries; on the other hand, it also poses challenges of conflict, social stratification, and division. Based on this reality, Malaysia has identified education on cultural diversity as a vital pillar. This study, drawing on the core content of Malaysia's cultural policy, analyzes how the state and government have used education to build a unified national community in diversity. From this, it draws implications for Vietnam.
