Abstract
In the context of pedagogical innovation and digital transformation, the flipped classroom model is considered a promising approach to enhancing the quality of physical education instruction. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the flipped classroom model in teaching sprint running to students at Hau Giang Community College. The research methods included document analysis, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experimentation, pedagogical assessment, and descriptive statistics. The six-week experiment involved 90 students who were not majoring in physical education. The results indicated that the proportion of students achieving good or excellent performance increased from 38.89% to 73.33%. Furthermore, no students failed to meet the required standard following the intervention. These findings demonstrate that the flipped classroom model is an appropriate and effective approach to teaching sprint running. Its implementation can enhance teaching and learning outcomes while supporting innovation in physical education instruction at vocational education institutions.
