Abstract

Culture is a product of human society and is manifested not only in major social institutions or profound intellectual ideas but also in the most ordinary objects and activities of everyday life. From work, residence, and transportation to eating, drinking, resting, relaxation, and bathing, cultural elements are embedded in a wide range of human practices. Examining culture through these specific and essential aspects of daily life provides a more nuanced understanding of how cultural meanings are formed and expressed. Such an approach also contributes to enriching the diversity of perspectives and research topics within the broader field of cultural studies.
