Abstract

In the context of digital transformation and the rapid development of online learning resources, the use of authentic digital materials has become increasingly important in the teaching of languages for specific purposes. This article presents several theoretical foundations related to the use of authentic digital resources in French for Specific Purposes (FSP) instruction and presents teaching experiences using TV5MONDE resources within the French for Information Technology course at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Based on the teaching of this course over two consecutive semesters, the study analyzes several learning activities implemented through TV5MONDE resources and proposes ways of integrating these materials to enhance the effectiveness of French for Specific Purposes instruction in the current educational context.
