Abstract

Lullabies are a form of Vietnamese folk music that express cultural identity and convey important values such as love, filial piety, and family attachment. Beyond soothing children and fostering musical emotion, lullabies help shape personality, gratitude, and family affection. Integrating lullabies into listening activities allows children to naturally absorb cultural and moral lessons through emotional and aesthetic experience. This article analyzes the content and educational value of selected traditional Northern Vietnamese lullabies, thereby clarifying their role in fostering family bonding among preschool children aged 5–6. Keywords: Education, family affection, listening activity, lullabies, preschool children aged 5–6.
