Abstract
Punching techniques constitute a fundamental component of the People’s Public Security martial arts curriculum and play an important role in developing People’s Police Academy cadets’ offensive, defensive, and situational response capabilities. However, current training practices present several limitations, including an insufficiently diverse exercise system and training methods that do not fully accommodate cadets’ characteristics or operational requirements. Accordingly, the proposed exercises focus on improving technique, speed, strength, motor coordination, and situational reflexes. Their application can enhance the quality of People’s Public Security martial arts instruction and help meet current professional training requirements for People’s Public Security officers.
