Abstract

In recent years, the situation of human trafficking, particularly targeting women and girls, has become increasingly complex in Vietnam. As a result, the Party and the State have prioritized this issue as a critical task. Significant progress has been made in receiving, supporting, and reintegrating female victims into their communities. However, alongside these achievements, there remain several challenges in the rescue and support processes for victims. This article aims to outline these challenges and propose recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the criminal law framework to better protect these vulnerable groups.
