Abstract

In the context of globalization, digital transformation, and the rapid growth of social media, students have increasing access to diverse sources of information, including both constructive content and unverified or misleading material. This situation places greater demands on political and ideological education in higher education institutions. Political theory courses not only provide students with fundamental knowledge of Marxism–Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and the Communist Party of Vietnam’s guidelines but also help develop their worldview, scientific methodology, political convictions, attitudes, and sense of responsibility. This article proposes measures to enhance Hai Duong University students’ political steadfastness through the teaching of political theory courses.
