Abstract

Climate change has been posing great challenges to human security in the Mekong Delta, because it has changed land, water and climate resources in an unfavorable direction, seriously threatening the livelihood of people in the Southwest. Therefore, the Mekong Delta needs many comprehensive solutions from the central to local levels. In particular, improving the quality of human resources is considered the most important solution to help the region develop sustainably. The article analyzes the current situation and proposes a number of solutions to improve the quality of human resources and meet the requirements of socio-economic development, which is the basis for ensuring human security in the Mekong Delta today.
