Abstract

The 4.0 industrial revolution, with digital technology as its core, is impacting, promoting and shifting the way of working from traditional to automated in all sectors and fields, including the Archives industry. In Vietnam, the Party and the State have paid attention to, directed and developed the work of documents and archives in the context of the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The promulgation of the 2024 Archives Law on June 21, 2024, effective from July 1, 2024, is a demonstration of progress in innovating the way and method of archiving in the direction of information technology development, meeting the requirements of sustainable development and international integration.
