Abstract
In the context of digital transformation and the rapid development of data science, ensuring information security is essential to safeguarding national digital sovereignty and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of agencies, organizations, and individuals. However, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing have also increased the risks of cyberattacks, data breaches, and privacy violations. This article examines the challenges posed by data science in the digital era, analyzes the current enforcement of laws on information security in Vietnam, and proposes solutions to improve enforcement effectiveness, thereby contributing to the development of a secure, trustworthy, and sustainable digital environment.
