Abstract

This article focuses on analyzing the theoretical and practical foundations of policy communication in the People’s Public Security forces, while also assessing the current state of this activity in recent years. The findings indicate that the People’s Public Security forces have proactively established a diverse system of official communication channels, including electronic information portals and social media platforms, thereby contributing to more effective communication, public opinion orientation, and social consensus building. However, in the context of multidimensional information flows and the increase of fake news, policy communication activities still face several limitations, such as limited interactivity, untimely communication responses, and the ineffective exploitation of digital technology. On that basis, the article proposes a number of solutions to enhance the effectiveness of policy communication in the People’s Public Security forces in a modern and professional direction, thereby helping to strengthen public trust, improve policy implementation effectiveness, and firmly safeguard national security in the new context.
