Abstract

The 4.0 industrial revolution with the strong development of artificial intelligence is creating profound changes in higher education. Artificial intelligence not only supports teaching but also plays an important role in the self-study process of students, helping to optimize time and improve the efficiency of knowledge acquisition. However, reality shows that the application of artificial intelligence in self-study of students at universities still has many limitations. The article clarifies the benefits, difficulties, challenges, and proposes some solutions to improve the effectiveness of applying artificial intelligence in self-study activities of students in the current context.
