Abstract
Drawing on the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam on building a modern national education system and advancing national digital transformation, this article clarifies the concept of digital competence and the requirements placed on education managers. It analyzes the current state of digital competence among Vietnamese education managers, highlighting achievements, limitations, and underlying causes. Based on this analysis, the article proposes a coordinated set of solutions related to awareness, institutional mechanisms, training and professional development, technological infrastructure, and assessment frameworks. These solutions aim to strengthen the digital competence of education managers and contribute to the successful implementation of fundamental and comprehensive educational reform in the new period.
