Abstract

In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, renewing teaching methods under the impact of digital transformation has become a necessary and urgent task. A common approach is to innovate teaching methods in association with the application of digital technologies, with the aim of developing learners’ competencies. This study introduces key concepts and perspectives on digital environments, digital technologies, self-learning competence, and blended learning methods. It also proposes four solutions for renewing teaching methods based on self-learning in digital environments.
