Abstract
This study examines the need for 613 students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education to participate in the Social Work Club through a questionnaire survey and document analysis. The findings indicate a high level of interest in participating in the club (M = 3.93, SD = 0.87). Students also rated the proposed activities as highly necessary (M = 4.22) and feasible (M = 4.15). Based on these findings, the study proposes an operational model comprising four pillars: professional training, community-based practice, skills development, and resource networking. The proposed model is expected to improve educational quality and develop students’ professional competence through participation in the Social Work Club.
