Abstract
Amid the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market, vocational college students need not only professional expertise but also sound physical fitness and development. This article examines the role of Physical Education in the comprehensive development of physical fitness and stature among vocational college students in Vietnam. By analyzing current teaching practices and students’ physical conditions, the study identifies several limitations of traditional programs, primarily their insufficient alignment with occupational characteristics and the slow adoption of innovative teaching methods. On this basis, the article proposes key solutions, including adopting active teaching methods, accelerating digital transformation in health data management, and standardizing physical fitness assessment systems. These solutions aim to improve the effectiveness of Physical Education, enhance students’ physical development, and contribute to preparing a workforce capable of meeting the requirements of industrialization in the new era.
