Abstract
The private sector has become one of the key drivers of Vietnam's economy. However, in the context of international integration (through new-generation FTAs) and rapid technological changes, the State's management role is facing the need for fundamental reform. The question is how the State can effectively perform its macroeconomic management functions, ensuring socialist orientation, while simultaneously creating an open space for the strong and sustainable development of the private sector. This article proposes several solutions to enhance the State's role in managing the private sector in the current context of international integration.
