Abstract
Population aging is becoming a major demographic trend with far-reaching implications for Vietnam’s socioeconomic development. Given the rapid pace of aging, the country faces significant challenges related to the labor market, social security, healthcare, and income security for older people. However, population aging creates not only pressures but also opportunities for developing a new market with considerable potential, commonly known as the silver economy. This article proposes solutions to improve the development of Vietnam’s silver economy in the current context of population aging.
