Abstract

This article presents methods for solving selected plane geometry problems for 10th-grade students, with a focus on competency development. Teaching mathematics with an emphasis on developing students’ problem- solving capacity aligns with the broader goals of math education. The proposed methods aim to foster student autonomy, creativity, and active engagement in the learning process, in line with current educational reforms that prioritize learner-centered approaches and independent thinking.
