Abstract

This study examines the current state of soft skills education management for students in higher education institutions in the context of the increasing demands of the labor market and 21st-century competencies. Soft skills are considered a crucial factor in the employability of graduates. The study focuses on four areas: educational objectives, curriculum, teaching methods, and assessment. A descriptive quantitative research method was used with 355 subjects (administrators, lecturers, and students), data collected using a 5-level Likert questionnaire and processed using SPSS 26.0. The results show that management is at an average level. Educational objectives and teaching methods are rated relatively well, while the curriculum and assessment are limited, particularly lacking standardized measurement tools. Furthermore, there are differences in evaluation among the survey groups. In conclusion, the management of soft skills education lacks a systematic and interconnected approach, requiring the development of a comprehensive management model to ensure synchronization between objectives, programs, teaching, and assessment.
