Abstract

In the context of digital transformation and the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, higher education is undergoing significant changes in teaching methods and teacher education. This article analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence on the development of pedagogical communication competence among teacher education students at universities. The findings indicate that artificial intelligence can support students in accessing information, simulating pedagogical communication situations, and providing prompt feedback during the learning process. However, the emotional dimension of pedagogical communication, which constitutes a crucial component of the teaching profession, is less directly influenced by artificial intelligence. On that basis, the article proposes several directions for effectively integrating artificial intelligence technology with practical training activities in order to develop pedagogical communication competence among students.
