Abstract

Applied martial arts are not merely a component of military and martial arts education but also an essential means of enabling People’s Public Security officers to respond proactively to confrontational situations, apprehend offenders, and protect themselves. In accordance with the directives of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security on strengthening military, martial arts, and disciplinary training throughout the force, considerable attention has been devoted to applied martial arts training and professional development. Improving the quality of such training involves not only developing technical proficiency but also strengthening tactical thinking and standardizing operational skills. These efforts are essential to enhancing officers’ professional competence and meeting the requirements for building a highly skilled People’s Public Security force in the evolving security context.
