Abstract

Alcohol concentration violations in road traffic in Vietnam’s Southern provinces remain an alarming issue. Addressing these violations is essential not only for ensuring traffic safety but also for protecting public health and human life. Although a range of legal provisions has been promulgated, enforcement in practice still reveals shortcomings and has not achieved the expected effectiveness. This article analyzes and evaluates the current situation, identifies limitations in both the legal framework and enforcement practices, and proposes specific solutions to improve the effectiveness of handling alcohol-related traffic violations.
