Abstract

In the context of comprehensive digital transformation in education, gaps remain in the integration of technology into STEAM education, preventing it from achieving the expected pedagogical outcomes. This study systematizes foundational concepts and aligns the Digital Competence Framework under Circular No. 18/2026/ TT-BGDĐT with the TPACK framework and the 5E instructional model to develop a comprehensive technology integration matrix. Through a case study, the article demonstrates the role of artificial intelligence and digital learning resources in optimizing the 5E instructional process. The findings indicate that digital competence can reduce teachers’ workloads, personalize learning, and foster scientific thinking while preserving the hands-on experiential principles central to STEAM education.
