Abstract
This study examines the theoretical foundations, legal framework, and practical implementation of the press’s responsibility for social criticism concerning high-tech crime in the context of building a socialist rule- of-law state in Vietnam. Through an analysis of relevant legal provisions and enforcement practices, the study clarifies the role of the press in detecting and condemning high-tech crime while identifying existing legal and practical barriers. Based on these findings, it proposes legislative and enforcement solutions to strengthen the effectiveness of the press’s social criticism, particularly in preventing and combating high-tech crime in Vietnam under emerging conditions.
