Abstract

This article analyzes the impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) on the labor market and raises the issue of employability among students at Hanoi University (HANU) in this context. Drawing on modern learning theories and the 21st-century competency framework, the author examines the current state of HANU students’ career skills, identifying strengths such as foreign language proficiency and intercultural communication, while also pointing out limitations in digital skills, critical thinking, and career orientation. On this basis, the article proposes a comprehensive set of solutions, including integrating AI-related skills into the curriculum, developing digital soft skills, personalizing career counseling, and strengthening practical experiences. The policy recommendations aim to support the transformation of higher education in the digital era.
