Abstract

The course "Theory of Translation and Interpretation" provided at the School of Foreign Languages – Hanoi University of Science and Technology equips students with foundational knowledge and translation skills. However, current assessment methods do not fully reflect students’ competencies. This study proposes integrating AI tools into the evaluation process for both written and oral translation. The goal is to enhance objectivity, save time, and improve teaching quality. Challenges such as evaluating context and complex language are also addressed, leading to proposals for improving accuracy and efficiency in assessment.
