Abstract
The study shows that students experience relatively high levels of pressure (3.84/5), mainly from academic demands and career concerns. Their level of happiness is 3.2/5, which is not commensurate with the pressure and effort invested in their studies. The role of lecturers is rated at 3.56/5, particularly in inspiring students and creating a positive learning environment. However, listening to and supporting students’ difficulties remains limited. Therefore, lecturers need to strengthen their guidance, support, and early identification of students’ difficulties. This can contribute to building a more humane learning environment and achieving a balance among academic achievement, mental health, and student happiness.
