Abstract

In the context of ongoing educational innovation, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising tool for improving educational quality. AI platforms can offer diverse exercise systems and simulate real-life situations. In particular, AI can support teachers in designing creative lessons that integrate theory and practice, enabling them to devote more time to instruction and interaction with students. This study employs qualitative methods and document synthesis to propose an AI-supported instructional process for teaching the Grade 3 mathematics content “3 times table” and “division by 3,” and provides a specific illustration of the proposed process. With AI support, teachers can simulate authentic situations to enrich Grade 3 mathematics instruction, helping students better understand how this knowledge applies in everyday life. This, in turn, contributes to meeting digital transformation requirements and enhancing overall educational quality.
